About

Michael is co-owner of The Chair and brings over 36 years of experience and education. He studied under Horst Rechelbacher at the AVEDA Institute while in it's original location of The Van Dusen Mansion.

Michael's favorite part of hairdressing is taking someone who is tired of feeling frumpy and making them feel fresh and sassy. He loves cutting and all types of coloring on both men and women. Michael also works with the "AQUA" tape-in extensions.

He was selected to work at fashion week in NYC with project runway winner, Irina Shabayeva and designer Marc Bouwer. Michael has twice lead his team to victory in the AVEDA Trashion Show Midwest. He has extensive training and enjoys education.
