Michael is
co-owner of The
Chair and brings over 30 years of experience and education. He
studied at Aveda under Horst and continues his education today at
The Aveda Institute in Minneapolis and NYC. He
is great at understanding his clients needs and desires while incorporating
updated looks for them. He is very proud to have been selected
to work with Aveda at Fashion Week in NYC. Michael excels in
doing professional work with a relaxed style.

Heidi
graduated from Regency Beauty Academy in 2002. Upon graduating, she
apprenticed for a year and a half under well renowned stylist and
salon owner Shawna Raich. She began her career at The Chair in 2005
where she has continued to keep updated with various classes through
AVEDA. Heidi excels in all hair coloring techniques, razor cuts and
thermal styling (blow outs). If you are looking for accuracy, a good
consultation and professionalism, Heidi is your stylist.

Brigitte is an AVEDA Institute MPLS Graduate and began working at The Chair in March of 2007. She has advanced education in long hair styling, customized cut and color, color solutions & corrections, up-dos and men's cutting.
Although Brigitte is skilled in all hair types, her passion lies in curly hair and razor cutting. She is excellent at meeting and exceeding the needs of each client and looks forward to meeting you!

Laura launched her career in 2001 at The Aveda Institute in Minneapolis and has since been sharing her passion for beauty and wellness throughout the Twin Cities. She is currently a senior stylist and cutting educator at The Chair Salon in Minneapolis, voted "Best Salon" by the City Pages in 2011. She has produced and showcased her work in various photo shoots and fashion events including Voltage, Still in Style, DIFFA, Big Hair Mania, Aveda Congress and has been featured on television for Ambush Makeover.
Laura joined the Aveda Haircutting Purefessional team in 2011 and has since taught advanced cutting classes in Los Angeles and through out the Twin Cities. She is consistently inspired by her colleagues while sharing her passion for the craft by teaching others what has made her successful behind the chair.

graduated from the Aveda institute in Minneapolis in 2005. She comes
to The Chair bringing her years of experience and advanced training.
She has studied under many notable stylists and instructors and has
done work for photo shoots, models and boutiques.

for learning and keeping up with the latest trends. She loves what
she does and it shows in her work and customer service.

Hannah graduated from the AVEDA Institute in Minneapolis in August of 2010. She comes from a family of hairstylists and it shows in her passion for learning. Upon arrival here at The Chair she spent her first 3 months working closely with Michael learning new techniques and how to apply them to her guests.
We are very excited to have Hannah on our team and she has already received many verbal accolades along with numerous emails and facebook posts from happy clients.

Kevin graduated from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis in 1997. Former owner of an Aveda concept salon, he now works full time for Aveda corporation as part of their technical team. Kevin is engaged and creative, and in the know of what's here and what's coming, both in the Aveda world and the hair styling industry as a whole. He brings his talent and expertise behind the chair, to the Chair, part time.
