Michael is co-owner of The Chair and brings over 30 years of experience and education. He studied at Aveda under Horst and continues his education today at The Aveda Institute in Minneapolis and NYC. He is great at understanding his clients needs and desires while incorporating updated looks for them. He is very proud to have been selected to work with Aveda at Fashion Week in NYC. Michael excels in doing professional work with a relaxed style.

Heidi graduated from Regency Beauty Academy in 2002. Upon graduating, she apprenticed for a year and a half under well renowned stylist and salon owner Shawna Raich. She began her career at The Chair in 2005 where she has continued to keep updated with various classes through AVEDA. Heidi excels in all hair coloring techniques, razor cuts and thermal styling (blow outs). If you are looking for accuracy, a good consultation and professionalism, Heidi is your stylist.

Brigitte is a graduate of The Aveda Institute of Minneapolis, completing her degree in 2006. She began working at The Chair in March of 2007. She has advanced education in styling, color and updos. Brigitte does very well at meeting and exceeding the needs of each client and looks forward to meeting you.

Laura joined the team at The Chair in July 2008. She got her start at The Aveda Institute in Minneapolis graduating in 2001, and continued her education at Rocco Altobelli Advanced Training Academy. She has showcased her work in many local fashion shows including: Voltage, Still in Style, DIFFA and Big Hair Mania (at which The Chair was voted best salon).

Laura enjoys giving clients a change to enhance their look and loves doing updos and color. She keeps up in trends by participating in ongoing education classes and involvement in the local fashion scene.

Kristin graduated from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis in 2006. She spent time working in the Twin Cities, then ventured off to Florida to work and advance her education. Kristin is back in Minneapolis now and looking forward to establishing long-term relationships with her clients.

Kristin loves all aspects of working with hair and her favorite services are color and updos. Being a stylist is her calling and she is excited to share her passion with you.

Rachel graduated from the Aveda institute in Minneapolis in 2005. She comes to The Chair bringing her years of experience and advanced training. She has studied under many notable stylists and instructors and has done work for photo shoots, models and boutiques.

Rachel has a passion for learning and keeping up with the latest trends. She loves what she does and it shows in her work and customer service.

Lynn is a recent graduate from The Aveda Institute right here in Minneapolis. She comes to The Chair bringing passion and excitement for skin care and all body waxing.

She was very well regarded at the Institute and we are excited to add her and her services to our current offerings. Lynn uses her knowledge, kindness and genuine care to make your very personal visit memorable.

Reception & Administration

Tim is co-owner of The Chair and can be found in the basement with the pups attempting to keep the books when he is not working at Regions Hospital.
